SLEEPING IN YOUR SPACESHIP

Only Spaceship camper vans have two sleeping options!  This means you have the flexibility to sleep either inside with the back door closed, or sleep outside by extending the bed into the rear awning for more space and ventilation on those warmer summer nights.

Spaceship campers are custom-fitted with a large, comfortable double bed that remains mostly set-up in the vehicle. This convenient design means that you do not have to rearrange the internal layout, or move your gear every morning or night!

The two sleeping options are easy to set-up and eith way you still end up with the same size bed. In winter or in urban areas you can keep the back door shut and secure to keep the heat in, and in summer or when you are staying in a camping ground you can add the back awning (tent) so you have more space and ventilation.

Internal sleeping option
Simply turn the back seat around to face the back door, then set up the internal bed legs (provided for free with your Spaceship) and sit the bed extension on top.

This takes about 10 seconds and is a great option for the winter months!

External sleeping option
Simply extend the bed out the back door by pulling out the steel frame and adding the bed extension then you just slip on the rear awning.

This only takes 1-2 minutes and provides a fully enclosed waterproof sleeping option for you.  The extra space and ventilation makes for a much more comfortable sleep in summer. A large screened window is included which can be zipped up or left down to access your storage or for increased ventilation.

Quick Specs
Size: Sleeps 2 adults comfortably. Having 2 adults and 1 small child is manageable.      Linen: Comes with a bottom sheet, duvet and two pillows (extra duvets are available in winter if required)
Rear Awning/Tent: Made with waterproof canvas, it provides 30% more space and ventilation.
Assembly: It only takes a minute to assemble the rear awning and less than 20 seconds to assemble the internal sleeping option. Either way you do not have to rearrange the interior of your Spaceship camper or your belongings.

WINTER WARMERS

The Beta model Spaceship camper comes well insulated.  The vehicles were initially built as a quality car as opposed to a commercial van so they have a far better finish and better insulation than other alternatives.

We provide free internal bed legs for the internal sleeping option for winter. We also provide two duvets in winter to keep you extra toasty and warm!
