9 Day West England Van Tour

The majestic west country of England - from the Roman history of Bath, mysterious Stonehenge, driving through Dartmoor national park or relax on the beach on the Cornish coast. This Campervan rental itinerary will show you all these great highlights.

Day One
Beginning in London and on the M4 to Junction 14 where we head south to Hungerford and Marlborough for ancient Thatched Roofed houses, before heading deep into the Wiltshire and dropping in on the Stone Circles of Avebury and Stonehenge.

Continuing on with the Hippie theme drive west and then North through Bath before heading south to England’s spiritual hippie home Glastonbury via the Cathedral City of Wells.

Day Two
Leaving the hippies behind head south to Dartmoor before heading for a nights stay in Dartmoor national Park at Kingsbridge or continue on further South to St Austell or even further South to Lizard Point

Day Three, Four, Five & Six
ahhhh....time to relax because the next few days there is minimal driving as Cornwall’s golden sandy beaches await. If you surf, then checkout England’s surf capital in Newquay but you haven’t got your own board there are many places to hire a wetsuit and board from. If you haven’t been surfing before lessons are relatively cheap and good fun.

If the Surfs not your cup of tea you may want to check out the towns of Penzance, and St Ives and of course no visit to Cornwall would be complete without a stop at Lands End and an obligatory Cornish Pasty from St Ives.

Day Seven, Eight & Nine
From Newquay head to North Devon Via Padstow and King Authurs Tintagel before finishing your trip off in the west country with a walk through Exmoor National Park. Head back along the M4 and back to London.
