Burning Clocks

If you’re are a bit sick and tired of the commercialism of Christmas. With over 1000 participants and 20,000 spectators this festival is different in that the participants build their own lanterns out of willow and paper and parade through the streets of Brighton to a beach where they cast their lanterns into the fire.

British Lawn Mower Racing 12hr Endurance Race

Guy Fawkes Night

The biggest Guys Fawkes celebration or memorial depending on what side of the religious divide you are on. The largest Guys Fawkes night takes place in Lewes. It begins with a torchlight procession to 6 different bonfire sights and cumulates in a massive fireworks display.
