Adrenalin Activites in the UK
Posted on 29/05/2016 by Rieke Lange
New Zealand is THE country of adventure and Queenstown on the South Island is the adventure capital of the world. That might be true but you can get your adrenalin rush while going around the UK, seeing amazing landscapes and beaches, as well.
There are so many cool activities on offer, it’s hard to choose for one.
But why choose? Just go on an adventure road trip!
The two ultimate activities are Skydiving and Bungee Jumping.
GoSkydive in Salisbury, south west of London, has got an amazing team and is the best opportunity for tandem skydives in the UK. Go and check them out if you ever wanted to fly free like a bird.
After even more adrenalin? Go and look for the UK bungee club which are doing crane and bridge bungee jumps.
Their highest bungee jump in the UK is 300ft which is 91 meter.
But even if the English weather is playing up, there is Bodyflight waiting for you. Bodyflight is a unique indoor venue full of ultra-fun adrenaline-charged activities like indoor skydiving and much more to get your adrenaline to the highest level possible. These guys are based in Milton Ernest in Bedfordshire.
If you’re in that area already you can go indoor surfing. Indoor surfing? Yes! It’s perfect if you’re a beginner or to improve as it’s really secure and you will have guaranteed waves.
There are more water activities to be found like white water rafting. There are three different companies which offer pretty good deals and bring you wet but safely down the river. These companies are canoewales, activehighs and gowhitewater. Check them out and see which one is one your way.
Less wet but a guarantee for high adrenalin is happening on the Themse. You can combine sightseeing with fantastic views, get more knowledge about London and have a fast ride. All this combined is jetboating on the river in a high-speed RIB powerboat.
A bit more extraordinary is being offered in Bedfordshire. Try out the Jetlev and shoot yourself out of the water.
More in for just letting it roll? Try Zorbing or Aqua Zorbing in Manchester or Nottinghamshire.
If you want to try something totally different then try Ice Climbing which is offered in three locations over the UK. Isn’t that awesome? Surfing on one day and the next day Ice Climbing in the exact same country.
Not too much of a water person? Don’t worry there’s heaps of stuff to do on the ground or in the air.
Go and take a Helicopter or a Scenic flight so see some awesome scenery from above. Scenic flights are offered by brightonscenic and flyscenic. Flyscenic is offering scenic flights up in Scotland as well as the Lake District region.
Wishing for a bit more action up in the air? Check out the offers of Aerobatic flights in Maidenhead and Berkshire.
All these are amazing adrenalin activities but that’s not it! There’s so much more to do. You could go Mountain biking in Wales, play paintball, try out clay shooting in 9 different locations all over the UK or drive a Formula Renault car in Hertfordshire.
And if you still didn’t get enough you can try the Skywire Experience and Gravity Swing at the Eden Project, go on a Quad Biking Safari in Kent, try Paragliding in East Sussex, test your skills on a trip with the guys from ‘Bear Grylls Survival Academy’ through the Highlands, go tall ship sailing in Dorset or Jet skiing in Brighton.
Don’t want to spend a fortune? Lucky you don’t have to! Check out these three websites for awesome adrenalin and activities deals:
Don’t forget to take photos and just enjoy the adrenalin pumping through your body!
