New Camper Car Launched for 2014
Posted on 03/02/2014 by John Morley
Here at Spaceships HQ in London we have been throwing around the idea of introducing a new vehicle to our line up for a while now. With our exisiting Alpha and Beta campervans already in high demand for this years busy season we decided to create an all new vehicle type to meet rising demands. For 2014 we are introducing the Spaceships Camper Car.
Our camper car is not only a great alternative to the generic bland hire car found at all airport terminals but has been specially designed for those customers who are after all of the benefits of our larger Campervans in a smaller package. To top it off it is one of the most fuel efficient campers available for hire today within the UK and Europe so its light on your wallet also.
Our camper car was designed in the workshop of our London depot by our hard working Spaceships team and is based on a Volkswagen Caddy platform. All vehicles are 2014 models and come with a manual transmission, extra large double bed, dual burner cooker & cooking utensils, cool box and privacy curtains. Other great features include iPod connectivity, cleverly designed storage space, huge side awning and industry leading fuel economy. All this from £40 per day!!!
With a number of bookings already coming through for this season we decided to ask a couple of customers why they decided to choose it as a means of travel. Ben (25) and Sarah (23) both from Sydney recently booked their camper car and are set to travel at the begining of June. They were looking for something small and nimble thats easy to maneuver and park in cramped European cities but is also nice and relaxing out on the open motorways.
"I think it was a great option for my girlfriend and I as we have been planning our Euro trip for a while now from back home and were tossing up between hiring a campervan and getting a basic hire car. The Camper car seemed liked the perfect fit and is also light on the wallet as we can do around 650miles to the tank. We also dont have to worry about finding accommodation now so can spend more time and effort on the things we want to see and do in Europe this summer!!"
More and more customers are tending to do their research these days and are fully aware of the rising fuel costs. With its great fuel range customers can reach destinations such as Loch Ness or Berlin from our London depot on a single tank.
